We are forced to let out yet another shaft here. We have evidence of the fact that a certain man in Broome, has had, at times, four colored men in his employ on shore, whose special duty it was to watch for incoming boats and see that they got an interview with the crew as early as possible and buy what snide pearls they could. Is that a legitimate game? We have a few more shafts left in reserve.
