The Premier, for the Minister for Works, informed Mr. Gardiner that he was aware that shipping stock from Onslow was difficult and costly. The matter had been considered, but, owing to the configuration of the coast, the construction of a deep sea jetty would be very costly, and, so far, the Government had not considered that there was sufficient justification for the expenditure. It might be possible to provide a deep sea jetty at Beadon Point for a less sum than for one off Onslow, and a survey to decide that question was contemplated.
