The sixth annual general meeting of the members of the Pastoralists' Association of Western Australia was held on Thursday afternoon in the offices of the secretary, Mr. J. H. Noble, William-street.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT.

The presidential report stated, inter alia:--

So far as our association, as employers of labour, is concerned, the period under review may be said to have been from an industrial standpoint undisturbed; at the same time all engaged in the industry have passed through trying and anxious times, caused through the drought that has prevailed; one, I may add, of the severest that has been known, and under the adverse weather conditions we have experienced the coming wool clip is not expected to be a good one. During the year we have lost by death Mr. Charles Smith, the Hon. F. H. Piesse, the Messrs. Piper Brothers, and Mr. A. Davies, the latter three gentlemen being amongst those who perished on the s.s. Koombana.
