THE NORTHERN MAIL SERVICE.
ALLINGA REPLACES THE KOOMBANA.
The s.s. Allinga (2242 tons) has now been commissioned by the Adelaide Steamship Coy. to take up the Koombana's running in the northern mail service. She will leave Fremantle on her first trip to Derby on Tuesday, May 8th. Built in 1897, she is a fine serviceable steamer, with good passenger accommodation and ample cargo space.
