The Government sent some 30 men up by the s.s. Koombana, to complete the railway, after which the work on the Hedland foreshore will be undertaken, but, as the high tides and winds this week have played havoc with the causeways near Hedland (necessitating a considerable amount of repairs), the railway will keep the men employed for several months.
