MINISTER FOR WORKS
VISIT TO NORTH-WEST.
Perth, Feb. 16.
The Minister for Works, Mr, Johnson, announced to a deputation from the Nor'-West yesterday that he would make an extended tour of the whole of the coastline in April for the purpose of seeing what could be done for its development. He was astounded at the neglect of this valuable territory, and was resolved to adopt a progressive policy in connection with it in future.
