DOWNPOUR AT CARNARVON.

Carnarvon, Aug. 1.

Rain fell here today and there was every indication that it extended inland. News received from the country shows that splendid falls occurred on July 13 and July 23. Some of the falls reported during July were: Yalobia, 340 points; Minilya, 200 points; Williambury, 100 points; Towrana, [?550] points; Carey Downs, 350 points; Wenderie, 423 points; Wahroonga, 137 paints; Wahroonga, 137 points; Wooramel, 278 points; Doorawarrah, 435 points; Callagiddy, 298 points. The country has been quite transformed. Feed is springing up everywhere, and all the pools are full. The Wooramel River ran twice and the Gascoyne again flowed into the Doorawarrah country. The drought is now completely broken.
