TANKS FOUND.
Less than a week after the Koombana left Hedland a shell-opener picked up two air-tight tanks (undoubtedly belonging to a Koombana lifeboat) at Turtle Island, 20 miles nearer to Hedland than Bedout, yet it never struck the shell-opener that the tanks belonged to the missing boat, and he took no trouble to report.
