The steamer Echunga, belonging to the Adelaide Steamship Company, is built on the cantilever system by Sir Raylton Dixon and Co., of Middlesborough, and will be the largest cargo steamer owned in Australia, her capacity being 8,000 tons deadweight, on a draft of 23ft.
