THE FAR NORTH BARRED.

It is certainly worthy of mention that when the Adelaide Company's steamers first ran to the Nor'-West, the months of December, January, February and March were barred for Cossack and further north, and apparently with good reason if such a fine boat as the Koombana has been swallowed up as a result of the warring of the elements in that most dangerous portion of the coast-line of Western Australia.
