Funerals.

The funeral of the late William Robert Jones, of the s.s. Koombana, took place last Sunday afternoon in the Karrakatta Cemetery, and was very largely attended. The Welsh Free Church and the Masonic craft, of which bodies deceased was a member, were well represented. The pall-bearers were Messrs. A. W. Weaver, H. White, W. Lund, E. W. Walsh, and A. Blain (representing the Freemasons) and Messrs. J. Jones, W. Jones, and W. G. Bond (representing the Welsh Free Church). The chief mourners were Mrs. Jones (wife), Mr. P. Payne (father-in-law), Messrs. B. P. and G. Payne (brothers-in-law), Mrs. Healy (aunt), Mr. and Mrs. J. George (uncle and aunt), the Misses Maud, Ethel, and Mary George, Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur, and Messrs. William and Oliver George, and Mrs. George, jun. (cousins), and Mrs. M. B. Brown. There were no flowers by request. The Rev. Lewis Jones, of the Welsh Free Church, officiated.
