WAKEFIELD COMMENCES SEARCH.
Melbourne, Sunday.
The steamer Wakefield, chartered to make a search for the missing vessel Waratah, has at last sailed from Durban to carry out her quest. Yesterday the Premier (Mr. Murray) received the following cablegram, dated Friday, from Mr. F. R. Moor, Premier of Natal, from Pietermaritzburg:- "Wakefield left for Waratah search at 11 o'clock this morning."
