MISSING WARATAH.
It is known at Bendigo (says the "Argus") by the relatives of Mr. W. Milburn and Mr. Grigg, who were passengers by the Waratah, that they left the steamer at Durban, and are now in Johannesburg. Messages to this effect were received from them shortly after the Waratah was reported as missing. This finally stamps as bogus the message picked up in a bottle near Prospect, in Eastern Gippsland, and purporting to be sent by T. Milburn prior to the sinking of the Waratah.
