AN UNFOUNDED REPORT.
Melbourne, August 11. This morning Messrs. John Sanderson and Co., agents for the Blue Anchor line, cabled to their representatives in Durban for more definite particulars. To-night the following message came to hand:--"Referring to yours of the 11th inst., the East London report (that a Blue Anchor liner was sighted some distance from East London proceeding slowly towards Durban) is not true."
