Miss Harriet Lenehan writes: "In your issue of the 3rd inst. I see a reference to Miss Fraser's gaining the certificate of the Royal Sanitary Institute, London. You refer to her as being the first lady to hold the diploma. As a matter of fact, I was the first woman in W.A. to get that certificate, my diploma dating from December, 1908. There is another lady In Perth (Mrs. Gibson) holding the higher diploma again of sanitary science. I did not publish my success at the time: hence few know I hold the certificate."
