The Colonial Secretary (Hon. J. D. Connolly), who, accompanied by the Chief Harbor Master (Capt. Irvine), Mr. Romans (representing the West Australian), and Mr. G. Dibdin (of the Colonial Secretary's office), has made an inspection of the various ports from Freniantle to Derby, returned to Carnarvon, en route to Fremantle, by the Government steamer Penguin on Tuesday morning.
