The steamer Koombana, with the Premier (Mr. N. J. Moore), the Minister for Works (Mr. J. Price) and party on board, reached Sharks Bay at 11 o'clock' on Thursday, after a smooth run from Geraldton.

The chairman of the roads board informed the Premier that pearlshell fishing in this centre was now more prosperous than it had been for many years, and with the present Government division of beds and the price of shell the outlook was considered very hopeful.
