To Open Our Railway

Perth, July 3.

The Minister for Works, Mr Daglish, has made arrangements for a visit to the Nor'-West portions of the State, which is expected to take him as far as Derby, and will occupy about five weeks.

During the last session of parliament the Minister made a promise to Mr Underwood that he would, in the winter months, proceed to the Pilbarra district to open the Marble Bar railway, and, although the line will for some time still be in the contractor's hands, Mr Daglish has found that it would be impossible for him to go north later in the year...
