ELECTRIC LIGHTING.

The Imperial Electric and Engineering Co. wrote stating they were prepared to send up an engineer to draw up plans and specifications for lighting the town with electricity and running the trams by the same motive power. The cost of this report would be about £20.

Cr. Fenner mentioned that he had seen the firm on a private matter and had been asked if the municipality contemplated using electricity. He had replied there was some talk of it and this letter was the result of the conversation.
